Experiments in Creativity #17 - ART Local

A great way to get to know a new city is to search for the local art scene.  You can go to museums, galleries, cooperatives, coffee shops, festivals, whatever suits your fancy.  I have designed this next Experiment in Creativity around a trip Lisa will be taking for the next few weeks.

No worries, you don't have to be on vacation or in a new city to participate.  Simpy use this Experiment in Creativity to get to know your own city a little bit better.

Here's the assignment:

• Find the local art scene and document your adventure to and fro.  
• Pick a local artist who inspires you.
• Provide us with the website, images, etc. of that artist.
• Create a work of art as a direct response to the artist and his/her work.
•  Tell us why you chose the artist and how the new work you created was inspired by him/her.
